Great news! Men in Balance™ is expanding dramatically!Henry (Hank) Dozier, Conference President, WNCC United Methodist Men has announced that the Men in Balance curriculum will be made available to all UMM men's fellowships in the Western North Carolina Conference. This conference currently consists of over 1100 churches arranged in 15 districts located in 44 counties across western North Carolina . The total membership at the end of 2007 was 293,772. The Men in Balance curriculum is based around small group discussion of the topics of most importance to men and their spiritual development. Topics range from Fatherhood and Career to Marriage and Meaning in life. Churches may sign up to charter a group. Men in Balance then trains a local facilitator to manage the group discussions. Groups may continue to meet as long as they wish beyond the initial curriculum provided. WNCC United Methodist Men is pleased to welcome the participating fellowships in our efforts to reach men and further their spiritual development. Our group is comprised of the District Presidents of the 15 districts in our conference, and other support members. Our task is to work with individual churches in support of the formation and health of UMM units. If you would like your church to begin a Men in Balance chapter, contact us at the numbers below.
